Sono “gli addetti ai lavori” nelle imprese e nelle associazioni dei consumatori a preoccuparsi degli effetti che determinate sostanze chimiche possono avere sulla salute delle persone che ne entrano in contatto. Con l’apertura dei mercati europei e le conseguenti importazioni di massicci volumi di articoli prevalentemente dal Far East, la situazione cambia: aumentano i casi di dermatiti e reazioni allergiche imputabili a capi d’abbigliamento e calzature, cresce l’allarme sulla sicurezza dei prodotti in vendita nel mercato italiano. L’apertura alle importazioni penalizza anche i produttori italiani che devono ora competere con prodotti realizzati in assenza di condizioni di rispetto dei diritti dei lavoratori e di tutela ambientale e i cui prezzi risultano essere quindi fortemente vantaggiosi per gli acquirenti. La richiesta di rendere obbligatoria l’indicazione “Made in” relativa cioè al luogo in cui il capo è stato fabbricato, sulle etichette dei prodotti in circolazione in Europa, è più volte sollecitata dalle rappresentanze italiane nelle sedi comunitarie e dalla stessa Associazione Tessile e Salute, ma resta disattesa. Il rapporto costante con il Ministro della Salute, l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, le istituzioni regionali, consente a Associazione Tessile e Salute di essere l’interlocutore tecnico per le Autorità competenti nella gestione del problema della sicurezza dei prodotti. Nel corso degli anni l’Associazione ha sviluppato numerose iniziative di sensibilizzazione e monitoraggio della situazione portando la sua voce nei contesti decisionali e avvalendosi costantemente del contributo di esperti della sanità e della ricerca. Ha inoltre realizzato convegni e curato pubblicazioni, animato il dialogo e il confronto con gli operatori dell’industria e della sanità e con gli stakeholders. Vision Obiettivo primario dell’Associazione Tessile e Salute è la tutela della salute del consumatore di prodotti tessili e di calzature. A fronte di tale obiettivo, l’Associazione collabora con il Ministero della Salute, gli organi decisionali e di controllo (ISS, Gruppi di lavoro tecnici EU, Agenzie delle Dogane, Asl, NAS) mettendo a disposizione le proprie conoscenze tecniche e la propria rete di relazioni. Tessile e Salute è infatti convinta che solo operando sinergicamente sia possibile individuare le soluzioni più efficaci per contrastare e prevenire la diffusione sul mercato italiano ed europeo di prodotti potenzialmente dannosi. Inoltre il mancato rispetto delle regole minaccia i consumatori e penalizza le imprese che operano nella legalità indebolendo il sistema produttivo del Made in Italy. Mentre i produttori italiani ed europei infatti, operano in un contesto legislativo rigoroso che proibisce l’utilizzo nei processi di lavorazione di determinate sostanze chimiche ritenute pericolose per la salute e sono sottoposti al regolamento comunitario Reach, molti articoli di importazione sono fabbricati in paesi in cui le stesse sostanze sono consentite o tollerate e presentano quindi un maggior grado di pericolosità. Sono inoltre frequenti i casi di articoli contraffatti, recanti cioè immagine e loghi “copiati” da famose case di moda ma proposti al pubblico a prezzi irrisori. I produttori italiani lamentano inoltre una oggettiva disparità nelle relazioni commerciali internazionali: incontrano infatti molte difficoltà nell’esportare propri prodotti in molti paesi a causa di una legislazione protezionistica mentre ai produttori stranieri è consentito importare liberamente in Italia e in Europa senza controlli particolari. L’impegno dell’Associazione Tessile e Salute è indirizzato quindi anche ad ottenere relazioni commerciali basate sulla reciprocità e sul rispetto della salute dei consumatori finali. Ma non si tratta solo di censurare i comportamenti scorretti e ritirare dal mercato i prodotti pericolosi: è importante valorizzare e sostenere le imprese che operano nella legalità e che si impegnano per ideare e realizzare prodotti innovativi, sostenibili, in grado di migliorare la qualità della vita delle persone. Molto possono inoltre fare i consumatori nel rivendicare il proprio diritto ad acquistare articoli sicuri, prodotti nel rispetto dell’ambiente e in condizioni di equità sociale e sicurezza dei lavoratori. SEMG (Surface Electromyography) measures the electric field potential arising out of the overlap of the action potentials of every single active muscular fibre. It is important to point out that every single electric contribution generated by MU's or MUP's give rise to an electric signal by overlapping in the muscular volume in terms of space and time. Apparently irregular, it is referred to as an interference pattern typically non-periodical and variable all over the time; for these reasons, to be able to interpret the signal, it is necessary to process it by using proper statistic and electric parameters, also varying all over the time.
