The iHES212 writes to all common DVD and CD formats: DVD±R at 16X, DVD±R DL at 8X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-RW 6X, CD-R at 48X and CD-RW at 24X. The drive utilizes LightScribe technology to engrave grayscale labels on any LightScribe compatible disc.

With its small dimensions, only 17cm in length, the drive is especially created for easy installation into smaller sized cases and shorter drive bays.
